Objectives The student will create a general view of the role of Polytechnic in the society. He/she will become familiar with Espoo-Vantaa Polytechnic and with the studies at Polytechnic level. The student will develop his/her skills to be able to plan a Personal Study Path. He/she will form an understanding of Espoo-Vantaa Polytechnic, structure of studies, student union activities, counselling and tutoring system.The student will become familiar with the philosophy behind a multi-disciplinary polytechnic. The student will understand the requirements of life-long learning in a changing society. The student will understand the changes and long-term development at the national and international level as well as the changes in business life.
