EU Leonardo Pilot Project MIRF (Managing International Risks and Finance) 12 - 20 CR supports specialisation studies in risk management. When attending MIRF-Project the student completes the courses AE7314 – 7318 and the Case study: Assessing and Managing International Risk” either as “Development Project” (AE5500-5505 2 – 6 CR) or ”Thesis” (10 CR).

Objectives The student will be able to analyse risks and opportunities in international trade and reduce risks through planning of international marketing, strategic entry options and international operations in accordance with risk management principles and means.

Objectives The student will be able to evaluate sources of labour within the EU, to identify major constraints in employment law and to assess the long term profitability with the help of Human Resources Accounting. The student will understand the importance of ‘life-long learning’ and will be able to identify and manage risks in recruitment and selection. The student will be able to analyse cultural differences and problems confronted with expatriate staff.
