Objective and content
The student is aware of the current challenges in infection control in social and health care. He/she understands the importance of the unbroken co-operation against nosocomial and community-aquired infections during the client´s / patient´s health care process. He/she understands the keynotes of the infection control policy in collaboration with primary and secondary levels of health care and is able to follow this policy during his/her clinical practice in Finnish health/social care organizations.
