Objectives The students acknowledge and understand the concept of community and various levels of community work.

Objectives The students know the history and basic concepts in social pedagogy and understands its role in community work

EF3220 Strenthening communities 3 cr
Objectives The students are capable of working together with groups, families and communities by using social pedagogic methods

Contents Empowerment, community planning, net work and work with families (analysing and studying social evil in communities, having impact on organisations and structures, informing, political decision making)

Objectives The students become familiar with the third sector
They understand the possibilities of and tension in official and unofficial social work
They develop insight into entrepreneurship and is capable of applying it to social work
