Objectives
The student develops an understanding of cultural differences and their impact on the way in which we communicate as well as our cultural identity. She learns to identify the particular needs of different ethnic client groups such as women, children & youths, families, and the elderly.
The student becomes familiar with the theoretical framework of Anti-discriminatory practice, and Multicultural Social Work theory. She learns practical skills in working with individuals and groups from ethnic minorities.
