Objective and content:
The objective of this course is to extend the critical and art historical skills that students developed in Art History Survey. Beginning with pop and avant-garde art, this course will focus on art and art theory from the 1960s until the present day. The course will be taught in English, and a proficient command of the English language is needed to engage in the course materials and discussion forums.
Prerequisite:
KV1600 or a comparable class.
