Objectives and operations:
Teach the students about the lifting and mobility industry, its complexity, relation to activities like micro-electronics, software, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, design, but also to normal support operations like logistics, quality management, business services.
The complexity of the business in the globalized world also draws our attention to need of understanding company networks, concurrent engineering, distributed development and business processes.
These matters will be dealt by top industry leaders and coordination of the proceedings will be the responsibility of Laurea’s lecturers.
Evaluation:
Assignment prepared individually about the lifting and mobility industry and the consequences of globalization.
